THE FOUNDER

Davide De Luca

Davide De Luca is the founder of Unquiet Form. His practice brings together art, design and function, exploring connections between materials, forms and seemingly distant worlds.

Together with his father and brother, he founded Radicem, a craft workshop where they share the work and their knowledge of materials. This experience forms the roots of his practice: working daily with materials, processes and the practical solutions needed to turn an intuition into something tangible.

From these roots comes Unquiet Form, a space for personal exploration in which he develops his own creative language and takes responsibility for every creative decision. Each work is made as a single, unique piece, with the desire to preserve something of himself in the material and leave a lasting trace through what he creates.

A NON-LINEAR PRACTICE

For Davide, ADHD is part of how he experiences the creative process. Ideas connect through unexpected associations: a curve suggests a gesture, a material recalls a shape, a detail opens a new direction.

Intense focus can draw him into the smallest relationship between proportion, texture and light.

Unquiet Form gives this way of thinking room to take shape.
